Project Overview: Parking Structure Cover is 186′ x 315′ x 12′. Pre-engineered metal building roof structure covers a two story precast concrete parking garage. Building eave from ground level is at 28′-8″.

Project Scope: Open wall structure sits on exterior building columns of precast concrete which are part of the parking structure. Metal building rafters were designed to bolt down on top of the precast columns. Roof slope was 1/2:12. All primary framing (rafters and interior steel columns) were field painted to match the galvanized roof purlins and to protect the structural framing from the outside weather and the elements

Key Project Features:

  • Project turnaround time was exceptionally tight. LBS met schedule requirements in a difficult situation.
  • Security clearance was extremely strict. LBS crew met all requirements.
  • Work environment required a great deal of flexibility by LBS to meet multiple conflicting work activities.
