Project Duration: 4 months, December 2008 – March 2009

Project Overview:  Building was anchored down to the top level of a two story precast structure to act as a Mechanical Penthouse for the existing facility. Two large wall louvers were installed on the south wall and 1 each roof curb and relief hood for building ventilation.

  • 82’-6” wide x 92’-8” long x 13’-2” high metal building plus an 11’ x 18’ lean-to for the elevator shaft;¼: 12 gabled roof slope.

Key Building Features:

 Structure was built on difficult access. Difficulty was due to the fact that the location of the project was on the rooftop of a preexisting structure and within a controlled workspace.  This presented significant safety challenges for the project and for employees.
